DJI è lieta di invitare i rappresentanti dei media a partecipare a uno speciale panel professionale organizzato nell’ambito del Venice Production Bridge durante l’83ª Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia.
In occasione del lancio di Osmo Pocket 4P, DJI ha scelto di andare oltre la semplice presentazione di un nuovo strumento di ripresa, dando vita a un’iniziativa più ampia dedicata ai giovani filmmaker e a una nuova generazione di autori dell’immagine.
Con il titolo “New Generation, New Cinematic Language”, il progetto esplora il modo in cui le nuove generazioni di filmmaker stanno sviluppando linguaggi e metodi di lavoro differenti grazie a strumenti più leggeri e flessibili, capaci di favorire una maggiore libertà creativa, modalità produttive più intuitive e nuovi approcci alla narrazione cinematografica.
Osmo Pocket 4P non viene quindi presentata come un’alternativa alle tradizionali cineprese professionali, ma come un nuovo strumento creativo in grado di affiancare la produzione cinematografica e di rendere il processo professionale più accessibile a una nuova generazione di image-maker.
Il panel vedrà la partecipazione di tre affermati Direttori della Fotografia:
Michele D’Attanasio
Direttore della Fotografia italiano pluripremiato e due volte vincitore del David di Donatello, con una lunga esperienza nel cinema e nella costruzione del linguaggio visivo.
Cristiano Di Nicola
Direttore della Fotografia italiano, tra i cui lavori più recenti figura un film selezionato in Concorso all’83ª Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia, espressione di una nuova generazione della cinematografia italiana.
Valentin Vignet
Direttore della Fotografia francese con una vasta esperienza tra lungometraggi, televisione e produzioni internazionali, capace di offrire una prospettiva contemporanea sul linguaggio visivo e sulle pratiche di produzione.
La conversazione analizzerà come gli strumenti di ripresa più leggeri stiano modificando il rapporto tra macchina da presa, attore e spazio, come produzioni più snelle possano generare nuove forme espressive e quale impatto questi cambiamenti possano avere sul futuro della cinematografia.
Durante l’evento sarà inoltre presentata l’iniziativa DJI dedicata al sostegno di un gruppo di giovani filmmaker, che realizzeranno una serie di cortometraggi originali con Osmo Pocket 4P.
Al termine del panel, media e ospiti invitati potranno partecipare a un networking reception presso la Terrazza dei Fiori dell’Hotel Excelsior, un’occasione informale per incontrare i Direttori della Fotografia, i filmmaker e il team DJI.
Durante il ricevimento potranno inoltre essere organizzate alcune interviste individuali con i Direttori della Fotografia partecipanti.

DJI is pleased to invite members of the media to attend a special industry panel held within the framework of the Venice Production Bridge during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
On the occasion of the launch of Osmo Pocket 4P, DJI is using this moment not simply to introduce a new imaging tool, but to support a broader initiative dedicated to emerging filmmakers and a new generation of visual storytellers.
Under the theme “New Generation, New Cinematic Language,” the project explores how younger filmmakers are developing new ways of working with lighter, more flexible tools, and how these technologies can open up greater creative freedom, more intuitive production methods and new approaches to cinematic storytelling.
Rather than positioning Osmo Pocket 4P as a replacement for traditional cinema cameras, DJI sees it as a new creative tool that can complement professional filmmaking and lower the barriers for a new generation of image-makers entering the industry.
The panel will bring together three established Directors of Photography:
Michele D’Attanasio
Award-winning Italian Director of Photography and two-time David di Donatello winner, bringing extensive experience in feature filmmaking and cinematic visual storytelling.
Cristiano Di Nicola
Italian Director of Photography whose recent work includes a film selected for the Competition of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, representing a new generation of Italian cinematography.
Valentin Vignet
French Director of Photography with extensive experience across feature films, television and international productions, bringing a contemporary perspective on visual storytelling and filmmaking practice.
Together, they will discuss how lightweight filmmaking tools are changing the relationship between camera, actor and space, how smaller production setups can create new forms of visual expression, and what these changes may mean for the future of cinematography.
The event will also introduce DJI’s initiative supporting a group of emerging filmmakers, who will develop original short films with Osmo Pocket 4P, with the works expected to be released later in 2026.
Following the panel, invited media and guests are welcome to join a networking reception at Terrazza dei Fiori, Hotel Excelsior, offering an informal opportunity to meet the participating cinematographers, filmmakers and the DJI team.
Selected media interview opportunities with participating Directors of Photography may also be available during the reception.
